The spiral classifier, also named classifier, is one of the key beneficiation equipments.

1. Working principle of the spiral classifier 

The solid particle with different size and specific gravity has different sedimentation velocity in the liquid. The fine mineral particles will swim in the water and then overflow out of the water, and the coarse mineral particles will drown in the tank bottom. According to this principle, the spiral classifier does the mechanical classification. It filters the fine particles, sends the coarse particles to the feeding port of the mill through the spiral piece of the rotary vane, and discharges the fine material from the overflow tube. The foundation of the spiral classifier adopts the channel steel and the body of the spiral classifier adopts the steel plate. The head and the shaft head of the spiral shaft adopt the iron set, which is wear resisting and durable. In addition, its lifting device can be divided into motor-driven type and manual operation type.
